Roman Ebert

Biography

Roman Ebert is a senior studying both History and German as majors. He joined Das Blatt due to his interest in German politics and history as well as German literature. He is excited to be part of Das Blatt and to be able to meet so many lovely people interested in the German language. 

Roman wrote Haferflocken, a poem about Breakfast as well as a relationship. He also wrote Das Heckerlied und deutsche Nationalismus, an essay detailing how an anti-monarchical folk song sung during the years after the Revolutions of 1848 came to become a right wing, anti-Semitic song during the Weimar Republic.
